The Kelleher Center  is located on the Staten Island, New York campus of St. John's University. It was the first new building to be built on this campus in approximately thirty years. It comprises of administrative offices, a fitness center, the campus bookstore, classroom/lecture halls, and a banquet facility.

The design of this building is for a school of 2,500 students. The building consists of one cellar floor and five additional floors. The central spaces within the triangle are the major large spans. This includes the auditorium, cafeteria, kitchen, and gymnasium. The classrooms and labs are on the perimeter of the building. Construction is steel frame with a brick exterior.

The central element of this design is an eight story mathematics tower connected to a six story physics research laboratory. The laboratory and classroom design allows a unique set of provisions which allow  rapid, efficient and inexpensive changes in space size and utilization.

The basement, first, and second floor of this building contain  research facilities, laboratories, and classrooms for the Physics and Mathematics Departments. The third floor is devoted to faculty offices and research laboratories. The building is exposed poured-in-place concrete with pre-cast concrete infill.
